We've Become Trees
06:41

I walk this bleak landscape
In some sort of pathetic desire for escape or,
To be touched by the rays of sunshine
In December overcast.
The woodland ambience speaks without sound.
Between abandoned buildings surrounded,
By miles of wasteland.
Like wolves, clawing away at my mind,
Darkening the vision of the weak with negative ideations.
I search for the absence of sentience among the trees,
To be removed from existence...
"Towards the great unknown".
Anything is better than this.

Hoarfrost Way
03:41
|
|||
Akin to the November frost
At the break of dawn.
The last of a species before
A deliberate event of extinction.
Underneath the frigid soil
Is a fortress of granite,
A cemetery for the forsaken
Who are survived only by the rime.
Amidst the angels of hoarfrost,
Against the burning wind,
Far from the caustic agony of humankind,
Stand figures resembling myself
Wandering aimlessly between worlds.

I Can't Live Like This
04:58
|
|||
Imagine a room,
with floors made from rotting wood.
With nails protruding the cracked plaster,
And asbestos crumbling from the ceiling.
No one goes there anymore.
It's hard to breathe.
The damp floors tear at the slightest step.
There is nowhere to rest,
or sleep for that matter.
The windows have been bolted over.
The lights are blinding.
I can't...
I can't...
No one should live like this.
